Everard Martin, as President and CEO oversees the entire operations of EXM and provides encompassing leadership to the organization. He ensures that the business operations are efficient and effective, and that the proper management of resources and execution of services to clients are being maintained at all levels. Everard ensures that good working relationships are being fostered across EXM projects while focusing on field operations as they relate to progress, quality, safety, and budget. Everard, as an astute executive, prides himself on ensuring that EXM clients’ goals and objectives are met or exceeded.  

Everard brings more than 3 decades of diversified construction experience and management practices, and has worked on many asset types such as residential, commercial, institutional, infrastructure, logistic centers, hotels, landmark, and educational, for both public and private sectors. 

Everard holds an MBA in finance from Keller School of Management, DeVry University, a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Pratt Institute. 

Tamara N. Varella, as Vice President, Planning and Strategic Alliance of EXM, ensures that our business is efficient and well poised to develop and execute business plans for strategic alliances in achieving our clients’ stated goals and objectives. Tamara serves as the primary day-to-day contact for client alliances and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders on both sides. Tamara understands the needs and goals of our organization and works to identify opportunities for collaboration that will always benefit our clients and us. As a senior executive with over 25 years of company growth and scaling success for varying industries including real estate, Tamara is skilled in identifying weaknesses and finding effective solutions in maximizing profits. 

Tamara’s forward-thinking mentality and growth strategic approach has yielded great success in organizational planning and development. Tamara is highly skilled at cultivating rapport with key players to optimize project goals and outputs, resolve complex problems and deliver required outcomes. Tamara is adept at working with public sector organizations, private companies, and multi-national companies.

With a wealth of experience in donor engagement, business development, and high-level campaign management, Brianne Martin has a proven track record of driving growth, building strategic partnerships, and executing initiatives that deliver measurable results. Currently, as Director of Donor Engagement at Vital Voices Global Partnership, Brianne manages pledge payments for a $30 million capital campaign and leads the strategy to develop and secure funding for a $100 million fund dedicated to empowering women worldwide.

Previously, as Senior Consultant at CCS Fundraising, Brianne managed multi-million dollar campaigns and executed high-impact strategies that secured funding for global initiatives. Notably, she led a $30 million capital campaign to establish the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Center, the world’s first Women’s Presidential Center, and a $100 million campaign for the development of the Texas Children’s Hospital Neurological Research Center, a cutting-edge facility focused on advancing treatments for neurodegenerative diseases.

As Vice President of Business Development, Brianne drives all sales initiatives for EXM Group LLC. Through her expertise in building and nurturing relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and organizations, she strategically identifies the company’s competitive edge and unique opportunities to drive results.

Her expertise spans both nonprofit and for-profit sectors, where she has successfully led teams, developed tailored business strategies, and executed programs that increased client engagement, secured new partnerships, and consistently exceeded revenue targets. Her background in securing diverse funding from public, private, and government entities, coupled with a keen eye for identifying client needs and pain points, has led to driving over $2 million in additional revenue for clients and achieving a 70% client renewal rate.

Eric J. Salvaterra is the Senior Project Executive with EXM Group. Eric has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry. Eric has experience managing high profile, high end and complex projects throughout New York City, from design to pre-construction right through completion of construction. Eric’s experience is very diversified, having constructed hotels, theaters, residential, retail, and commercial buildings, as well as large public works projects.

John Cannataro has been in the architecture/construction industry for over 28 years. John has been placed in a wide variety of construction roles since making the decision to switch from architecture to construction in 2007 and then reaching senior level management in the construction industry in 20015. John has demonstrated effective leadership through communication, organization, and a strong work ethic.

From experiences working on individual projects to running multiple projects simultaneously in the five Boroughs, Westchester, Connecticut and Long Island, John has a rich understanding for the meaning of teamwork. Producing projects on time and on budget is a direct testament to John’s ability to adjust to everchanging predicaments, as well as his dedication to the project, to the team, and to ownership. Being hands on when needed or delegating to the correct team members, John has the ability to put people in a position to succeed. John’s ability to schedule and hold people accountable has helped produce residential towers throughout Brooklyn, high-end retail and apartment renovations throughout Manhattan, high end residential throughout Long Island, and many more complex projects through the area.

John received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from NYIT in 1996 and holds an OSHA 30 certification. 

As an Executive of EXM Group, John is responsible for several project operational oversight, and provides support and direction in client maintenance, procedures and processes, financial reporting, subcontractor performances, risk analysis and mitigation procedures. John is also accountable for the execution and completion of all projects, including but not limited to staff management, client satisfaction, project compliance requirements, budget, schedule, QA/QC, safety, cost control, change management, and the overall P&L for each project.

Alan Cavaliere, as Director of Field Operations of EXM, ensures that all field operations are effectively streamlined consistent with our corporate policies and work procedures, and manages and oversees the entire field staff for each project.

Alan is a result oriented, hands-on construction and development professional with over 3 decades of experience in new construction, and all facets of the industry, with extensive knowledge in masonry, facade restoration, landmark, and historical preservation. Alan’s track record has demonstrated his ability in ensuring that projects are successfully completed, and with his strong relationship with the subcontractor’s pool, through coordinating, strategic planning, and building positive rapport with architects, engineers, local officials, and vendors – will ensure that each project is speedily completed in a safe manner while ensuring quality and safety are never sacrificed.
